Add a new Crystal report to FinOps

In order to add a new report to FinOps, you will need the Crystal report template saved on your computer somewhere. Once you have this, follow the steps below to add it to the list in FinOps:

  1. Log into FinOps

  2. Browse to System, Report Structure, Reports

  3. Click Edit Structure

  4. Highlight the folder you want to add the report to and click Upload Report

  5. A new box will open - click in the File field and select the first report template that you have saved on your computer by browsing to and double clicking on it

  6. Click Upload to add it into the report list

  7. Repeat steps 4-6 above until all reports have been added to the list

  8. Then click Permissions - you can grant permissions by user or by Security Profile by changing the tab at the top

  9. To grant the permission, highlight a user or Security Profile in the list and click Permissions at the top

  10. Add a tick to the new reports that you want to give permissions to and then click Save

  11. Repeat steps 9-10 above for all other users or profiles who need permission, making sure to save each one

  12. Once finished with assigning permissions, click Close on the Edit Permissions window

  13. Click Save and Close on the Edit Structure window to fully save the changes
