This article describes how to move a user from one security profile to another within FINOPS .
This method ensures that no user details or permissions are lost and is a quick and easy process.
Permissions in FinOps are controlled from the Financials Operations Administrator rather than Financials Security area and users can be moved between profiles as below:
Login to FINOPS Administrator.
Browse to System Control, Security Profiles.
Highlight the profile to put the user into (not the profile they are currently in) and click Members.
On the right, in the list, locate the user.
Click the user and click add. Users should now see they have moved into the list on the left-hand side of the screen, which is a list of the users in this profile.
Click OK to save. The user should now have been successfully moved into the new profile, without losing any permissions or details stored against them.
