Enable Project Management Tab

The likely causes of this issue are

  • The user is in the incorrect Security Profile

  • Permissions on the Security Profile need amending

First, compare the user(s) not seeing the Project Management tab with users who can and confirm if the users affected should be within the same Security Profile.

To move an existing user between security profiles, please follow these steps:

  1. Login to FinOps Administrator

  2. Choose System Control, Security Profiles

  3. Select the profile to put the user into (not the profile they are currently in)

  4. Click Members

  5. Select the user in the list displayed in the right-hand pane

  6. Click Add

  7. Click OK to save

To check and amend permission on a security Profile, please follow these steps:

  1. Login to FinOps Administrator

  2. Choose System Control, Security Profiles

  3. Select the profile you want to amend

  4. Click Edit

  5. Go to Security tab

  6. Choose Project Management

  7. Then on the right hand panel double click Show Menu to enable it

  8. Click OK to save
