Users cannot view all Purchase Requests or Purchase Orders

There is a 'ViewOption' permission within the FinOps Administrator Application which controls the permissions for a group of users (grouped together in what is known as a Security Profile).

In order to configure these security profile settings you must first have access to your CLOUD\DMnnnnHosting.Admin account credentials and access to the Remote Gateway.

Please follow the below steps to fix this in FinOps Admin.

  1. In a web browser navigate to the Remote Gateway

  2. Log in with your CLOUD\DMnnnnHosting.Admin

  3. Once logged in launch Financials Operations (FinOps Admin)

  4. Choose your Database on the login window

  5. Once logged in to the correct Database, click System Control, Security Profiles

  6. Click the security profile which one of the users is a member

  7. To verify a user is a member of this profile click Members.This will reveal the members of this profile (the users to the left of the window are members of the profile, whilst users to the right of the window are members in other profiles, or no profile)

  8. Once the profile is selected click Edit

  9. On the window that loads, look for View Options

  10. It is the top two view options, Purchase Orders and Purchase Requests you need to amend accordingly.

  11. Once you have configured your view options click OK to save your changes

  12. Users will need to then log out and back in, for these changes to take affect.
