Error - 'Posting Error: User (x) is not permitted to Insert this transaction' when approving a purchase request

This error is very likely to be caused by the user in question not having enough permissions in the Access Financials Database

Without the correct permissions on the Access Financials Database the system will reject any attempt from a user in FinOps to update a transaction.

Please check that the user has the correct security permissions in the Access Financials Database for the transaction type. By default when granting a new user access to FinOps, the corresponding user record should appear under the FINUSER security profile in Access Financials.
