All FinOps users require an assigned, valid, Costing Resource Code to be set up and linked to the member record in FinOps Administrator.
The reason you are getting this error is very likely that the user attempting to log on as; has been validated as a user, but they are not configured, or do not have a valid Resource Code assigned to their member record in FinOps Administrator.
Click the System Control tab.
Select Users.
Locate the user, note their profile, then close this window.
Click System Control, then select Security Profiles.
Select the user's profile.
Click Members at the bottom of the window.
Select the user.
Click the Links tab.
Locate the Resource Code field.
Click ... to search the list of available resource codes.
📌 Note: If the Resource Code field already contains a value, FinOps will only display results that begin with those characters. Clear the field first if you need to see all available codes.
