Users are able to see too many Purchase Requests when they search, can this be limited

Updated over a week ago

There is a setting in the FinOps Administrator tool which can be used to restrict the Purchase Requests which are visible. This setting is changed on a Security Profile basis.

The options you can choose from are as follows:

Own Only

This setting will display only those Purchase Requests where the user has entered the Purchase Request into FinOps or the user has submitted the Purchase Request for approval or the user has been selected as the recipient on the Purchase Request.

All (Default to Own)

This setting will display all Purchase Requests, initially filtering them to a list where the user has entered, submitted or been selected as the recipient on the Purchase Request. The user ID filter can be removed, allowing them to see all Purchase Requests.

Department (Default to Own)

This setting will display all Purchase Requests where the user who entered, submitted or was selected as the recipient on the Purchase Request has the same default department as the logged in user. They will also be able to view their own Purchase Requests.

Allocated Departments

This setting will display all Purchase Requests where the user who entered, submitted or was selected as the recipient on the Purchase Request is in a department that the logged in user has access to. They will also be able to view their own Purchase Requests.
